A powerful piece by artist Ed Grossman. Yom Kippur is the most solemn day of the year- the day we face our transgressions and atone for our sins. Before we commence on this spiritual journey we first carry out a ritual called ‘tashlich’ where we discard our sins to the lake. Grossman captures this cleansing ritual and shows us a religious spiritual man praying and throwing away his sins; cleaning himself before he can ask for redemption from above.
