Retreat

Ed Grossman uses the abstract to create powerful moods. In Retreat he takes us into the World of a lone recluse seeking enlightenment in the desert. Wilderness all around him, he is content with the shade of an olive tree, a small stream of water and a small fire to keep him warm in the cold desert night.
